Barbara Clark, chief executive officer

Barbara Clark has served at Hope Clinic for 7 years. Barbara was appointed Chief Executive Officer by the Board of Directors in July 2016. She has 20+ years of experience in project management, customer service, management training and staff development which she has applied at the clinic. She has served in the capacity of Outreach Coordinator, Financial Manager and Director of Operations before becoming the CEO. She has a real heart for service and a strong faith and passion for assisting the needs of our patient’s healthcare and recommending resources for their basic needs.

She grew up in Lubbock, TX and after college moved to Allen, TX where she resided for 32 years before moving  to Ellis County in 2007. She attended Jacksonville Baptist College where she studied Business Administration and music.

Barbara has two daughters and one son-in-law. Both daughters reside in Waxahachie. Barbara loves her family which include spending time with her great nieces and nephews doing fun activities such as playing games, walking 5k marathons, vacations and attending church together.

Randy Roden, cpa, chief financial officer

Randy has been the Chief Financial Officer for Hope Clinic since August 31, 2016. He earned his BBA-Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 1974 and has been a Texas licensed CPA since February 1976. He has served as CFO or Controller for a number of entities over the last 40+ years, with experience in retail, oil & gas, agriculture, public accounting and health services financial management.

He married Jaime Rhone 1972 and has four married children, eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson, with one more grandson and one great-grandson on the way. He and Jaime are members of Brown Street Church of Christ in Waxahachie. Randy grew up in Grandview, Texas, where both of his parents, he and his three siblings, all four children and eight of the eleven grandchildren attend/attended Grandview public schools.

Randy has served as a member of Boards of Directors for various local, regional and state organizations over the years, and was elected to serve a total of six terms on the Grandview ISD Board of Trustees. Serving the community is one of his greatest passions.

Melissa Allen, RN, Director of compliance

Melissa Allen is a registered nurse who joined the Hope Clinic staff in 2017, and was appointed Director of Compliance in 2019. She received her Associate’s Degree of Nursing from Navarro College and registered nurse licensure in 2015. Prior to coming to Hope Clinic, she worked as a pediatric nurse for a large pediatric clinic in Dallas and obtained training as a breastfeeding consultant. Additionally, she is a member of the American Nurses Association. Melissa is also a certified teacher, having obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, and having taught in public, private, and homeschool settings.

Melissa has called Waxahachie home for over 25 years and is thrilled to be working in and for the community she loves.  She is a member of Waxahachie Bible Church where she serves in children’s ministry. She has five wonderful children, and in her “spare” time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working in her yard, exercising, and reading.  She is grateful to be part of the Hope Clinic Family.


Annette Prudhomme, Consultant

Annette Prudhomme received her Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics from Texas Tech University in 1993. Since that time she has worked in a non-profit hospital in Clinical Nutrition services as well as operated as a consultant for groups and individuals in life studies, including weight management. Annette began working for Hope Clinic in 2012 and is currently serving as a consultant. Outside of work, Annette enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and doing artwork.


Greg Phillips, Director of Operations

Greg began working at Hope Clinic in 2018 and currently serves as Director of Operations. He has 20+ years of experience in management, customer service, medical services, and clinic operations. He earned his EMT Paramedic Certification from UT Southwestern in 2013. 

 Greg spent his teen years in Humble, TX then attended Texas A&M University where he studied Agribusiness. He has lived in fun places across the United States and traveled amazing destinations around the world. However, his roots are seeded in Ellis County where his heart lies. He has a deep love for the community and a sincere heart for service. Greg’s joy is found in his church, friends, family and especially the twin boys who call him Uncle.
